VoteVets Launches $150k Ad Buy for Maura Sullivan in NH-01

Washington, DC. – Today, VoteVets is beginning its spending in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District by announcing an initial $150,000 ad buy in support of Maura Sullivan. A U.S. Marine Iraq War Veteran and mother of three, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to serve as Assistant Secretary at the VA, where she worked to improve timely access to quality health care for fellow Veterans. Later, at the Pentagon, she held senior roles focused on strengthening our national security and supporting military families.When elected, she will make history as the first female Marine to serve in Congress. VoteVets was an early endorser of Maura, noting that her bio and real world experience makes her the candidate best positioned to hold this crucial seat for Democrats in the fall.
The new ad, “New Generation,” emphasizes Maura’s focus on shaking things up in Washington by taking on corruption and ending the type of “insider politics as usual” that has crippled Congress and held working families back. Maura isn’t from an insider political dynasty, she worked her way through college on an ROTC scholarship by waiting tables before deploying to a combat zone. Her career has been focused on service and results and she’s running at a time when voters are hungry for service-oriented, next-generation leadership.
The ad will run starting Thursday on cable and streaming services targeting primary voters districtwide. Additional paid media investments and creative copy in this primary from VoteVets may be announced in the future.
