VoteVets PAC endorses Sarah Klee Hood for Congress

SYRACUSE, NY – The largest group of progressive Veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, is today endorsing Sarah Klee Hood for Congress, in New York’s 22nd Congressional District.

“There is no shortage of threats from abroad and at home. Yet, we do not currently have a House majority that’s equipped to address them, but Sarah will,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran and Chairman of VoteVets. “Sarah is someone who always puts her community and her country above herself – a quality that is sorely lacking in our politics. As the new Congressmember from Central New York, she’ll go to work on day one to deliver for our security, our military, and her community.”

Sarah Klee Hood is a working Mom, Dewitt Town Councilor, native Central New Yorker, and Air Force veteran. Sarah was commissioned as an Airfield Operations Officer (13M3), where she led a team of 140 across 4 divisions, managed a budget of $25M and secured assets valued at $50B. During her time in the Air Force, Sarah served as an Air Traffic Controller and developed Federal-level policy that is still used as a benchmark today. Those principles — service, calm under pressure, dedication to country, empathetic & strategic leadership — is also why she is running for Congress.
