VoteVets PAC Endorses Peter Dixon for Congress
The largest progressive group of Veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, is today endorsing Peter Dixon to be the next Member of Congress from California’s 16th congressional district.
“Peter’s life is one of nonstop service. Whether it was volunteering after 9/11 to serve the nation in the Marines, or coming home and working in the State Department to combat cartel violence in Mexico and gender-based violence in the DRC,” said Travis Tazelaar, Political Director of VoteVets PAC. “In these unprecedented times, people like Peter, and his background and experiences, are the exact kind of people we need in Congress. He will be a tireless fighter for veterans, service members, our democracy, our freedoms, and all Californians in Congress. Put simply, Peter knows how to get things done. And that is what Congress and the nation needs right now. We’re proud to endorse him.”
Peter Dixon is a combat veteran, public servant and was born and raised and built his business in California’s 16th district.
DIxon joined the Marines after 9/11, and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. During his time in the Marine Corps, he also served at the Pentagon, spearheading innovative technology solutions, as well as in the State Department during the Obama administration, combatting cartel violence in Mexico and gender-based violence in the DRC. After the Marines, he founded Second Front, a cybersecurity company that brings game-changing commercial tech to the U.S. government, equipping those fighting on the frontline with the most cutting-edge tools.
