VoteVets PAC Endorses JoAnna Mendoza for Congress

Mendoza Is Battle Tested And Ready To Serve Again

Washington, DC. – Today, VoteVets PAC is announcing that it is endorsing JoAnna Mendoza in Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District. A US Navy and Marine Veteran, JoAnna became a Drill Instructor, deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, and over her 20-year military career witnessed the immense sacrifices made by service members and their families. After decades of service, she came home to Arizona to raise her son, Aidan, embracing the strength it takes to be a single mother. The following quote can be attributed to VoteVets Senior Advisor and former Congressman Max Rose:

“JoAnna Mendoza is battle tested and ready to serve her country again, this time in Congress. While Juan Ciscomani lacks the courage to stand up to the special interests that fund his campaign, JoAnna can always be counted on to advocate for hardworking Arizonans. People like her are willing to sacrifice for their families and do what it takes to deliver real results. In Congress, she will focus on lowering the cost of groceries and gas, expanding access to health care and child care, and finding ways to keep our communities safe. JoAnna is a true servant leader who is prepared to win this race. VoteVets is proud to be in her corner and we look forward to winning this fight alongside her. Together, we’ll make sure Arizona’s Sixth becomes represented by someone who knows the value of service and the power of putting people – not politics – first.”
