VoteVets PAC Endorses Jeff Sites for Congress

Lima, OH — VoteVets PAC, the first and largest group of progressive veterans in America, is today endorsing Jeff Sites for Congress, from Ohio’s 4th District.

“Jeff is the kind of person who never forgets where he came from,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran and Chairman of VoteVets PAC. “He chose to serve this country and his community, and is doing so again. He understands that fighting for this country and his community isn’t about rolling up his sleeves for show, and then betraying his country when it’s all on the line. He knows it’s about putting in the hard work, and even willing to sacrifice your life, so that our children have a democracy, and a fighting chance at a better life. When so many frauds peacock around Capitol Hill, Jeff Sites will be the real deal.”

Jeff grew up in a family with a tradition of service to this country, and after high school he followed in his father’s footsteps and enlisted in the military. He proudly wore the uniform of the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1990, serving two years as an MP and then as a unit armorer as an E-4 corporal. Following an honorable discharge, he worked as a police officer with the Department of Defense while he was a military spouse. He then got a job as a forklift driver and started climbing up the ladder to a supervisor’s position.

Jeff decided to run for Congress in 2020 because he was tired of elected officials offering pandering and empty promises then betraying working families when it came time to vote, and chose to step up and make a second run on January 6th to defend American democracy. He aims to bring the perspective of a regular Ohio working man to a Washington run by millionaires owned by billionaires.
