VoteVets PAC Endorses Herb Conaway for Congress

The largest progressive group of Veterans in America, VoteVets PAC, is today endorsing Herb Conaway to be the next Member of Congress from New Jersey’s 3rd congressional district. 

“Herb Conaway has had a distinguished career as a doctor, NJ State Assembly Member, and a Captain in the Air Force,” said Travis Tazelaar, Political Director of VoteVets PAC. “In these unprecedented times, people like Herb, and his background and experiences, are the exact kind of people we need in Congress. He will be a tireless fighter for veterans, service members, health care, our democracy, our freedoms, and all New Jerseyans in Congress. Put simply, Herb knows how to get things done. Dr. Herb Conaway is a lifelong resident of Burlington County. He has dedicated his life to caring for and serving New Jersey and our country. Dr. Conaway has been a doctor, NJ State Assembly Member, and a Captain in the Air Force. 

His results-driven record as a legislator resonates with the voters in New Jersey’s 3rd congressional district. Dr. Conaway is a graduate of Princeton University, Jefferson Medical College, and Rutgers Law School. He later joined the U.S. Air Force, becoming a Captain in the Medical Corp at McGuire Air Force Base. Following his military service, Dr. Conaway has served the residents of the 7th Legislative District for 26 years. On November 7th, 2023, Dr. Conaway was elected to a 14th term by a

wide margin. He serves as Chairman of the Assembly Health Committee and has played a substantial role in expanding women’s access to reproductive health care and preventive screenings. He has also fought to make prescription drugs more affordable and advanced crucial legislation to protect our environment and provide property tax relief.
