Ad features Vietnam Veteran, calling Rosendale a “fraud”
HELENA, MT – The national veterans group, VoteVets, in conjunction with Majority Forward, is today launching a $850,000 television ad buy in Montana, hitting at Matt Rosendale’s record on veterans issues.
See the ad here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmvZFMBul4I
The ad features a Vietnam veteran, Charlie Matthew Donnes, from Billings. In the ad, he says, “I was a detachment commander, in Vietnam. One in ten Montanans is a veteran. Matt Rosendale takes care of veterans, not at all. He’s voted against home loans for veterans. He’s voted against the Columbia Falls facility and he voted against the new facility in Butte. That’s his record. Matt Rosendale’s a fraud.”
Indeed, not only has Rosendale voted against all the things listed in the ad, but he has refused to even explain his votes, when asked about them. See here for more information: https://themontanapost.com/2018/07/22/matt-rosendale-refuses-to-explain-why-he-repeatedly-voted-against-veterans/
