VoteVets Launches $170,000 TV Buy for Dan Helmer “True blue patriot, True blue progressive.”
STERLING, VA – VoteVets Action Fund, the largest progressive group of veterans in America, is today launching a massive, $170,000 one-week television ad buy, for Dan Helmer, who is running for Congress in Virginia’s 10th District.

In the ad, over pictures and video of Helmer during his time in the Army, and at home in Virginia, a female voiceover says, “Dan Helmer fights for what’s right. Whether it’s serving our country, or looking out for our families.
On top of a video of the NRA convention, the voiceover says, “He’ll take on the NRA, to protect our kids…”
And on top of video of Paul Ryan, the voiceover says, “He’ll stand up to the bullies, because quality, affordable health care is our right.”
On top of video of Donald Trump, she says, “He’ll push to impeach an outlaw president, because no one is above the law.”
“Dan Helmer knows what’s right, and he’ll lead the fight. True blue patriot… True blue progressive. Dan Helmer for Congress,” the ad concludes.
