Shawn Harris

Shawn Harris is a retired Army Brigadier General and decorated combat veteran bringing four decades of experience and principled leadership to Congress. After serving the nation—from enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps to leading combat missions in Afghanistan—Shawn returned to his roots. Today, he and his wife, Karla, live in Rockmart, Georgia, where they run their first-generation grass-fed cattle farm. This blend of military discipline and local commitment makes him the ideal common-sense leader for Northwest Georgia.
