Eileen Laubacher

Colorado-04, U.S. House of Representatives

  • U.S. Navy Veteran
  • Afghanistan

Eileen Laubacher’s life has been defined by an unwavering commitment to our nation, a legacy of service inherited from her father, a 37-year Navy veteran, and her grandfather, a WWII frogman. Determined to serve from a young age, she was part of the 11th class of women to graduate from the United States Naval Academy. Her distinguished 34-year career is marked by critical leadership roles, including serving as an intelligence officer, deploying to Afghanistan as a mother of five young children, and reaching the pinnacle of her profession as the U.S. Senior Defense Official in India and a Senior Director on the National Security Council.

For decades, Colorado has been her home. It is where she and her husband, Chris, chose to raise and homeschool their children, and where they returned after every assignment. She understands the value of community, having relied on the support of neighbors and family during her year-long deployment. Having served her country on the global stage, Eileen has retired from the military but not from service. She is now ready to bring her extraordinary experience, proven leadership, and deep local roots to serve the people of Colorado.
