VOTEVETS LAUNCHES AD ON KEVIN CRAMER’S SHAMEFUL VETERANS RECORD

BISMARCK, ND – VoteVets Action Fund is announcing a statewide television ad buy, today, that highlights Rep. Kevin Cramer’s shameful record on veterans issues, in Congress.  The ad will start today, and run through August 3, at a total cost of $270,000.

In the ad, on top of photos of troops, and Cramer, a voiceover says:

“Congressman Kevin Cramer has turned his back on our veterans and service members.  Kevin Cramer says often times military service is a result of ‘lack of other opportunity. Maybe that’s why Kevin Cramer voted against a pay increase for uniformed service members and against funding to reduce the VA benefits backlog.  Kevin Cramer said veterans funding is becoming a very difficult pill to swallow. Tell Congressman Kevin Cramer that his votes to hurt our veterans are becoming a difficult pill to swallow.”
