Clean Energy Economy
We have launched a national television ad, and other ads in seven states, in a massive new campaign for a clean energy economy. In all, we're putting $2 million behind this effort, making it the largest ad campaign we've ever undertaken. Ads are going up in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, South Dakota, and Wyoming. But, we can use your help to do even more.
The fight to get off Middle East oil - permanently - is one that is very important to us. Every day, we send American dollars overseas to countries with ties to terrorism. In the past, hundreds of millions - if not billions - of oil profits have made their way to the same terrorists we're fighting against.
We're funding both sides of the war against al Qaeda and other terror networks from the region, and Middle East oil money has gone to kill our troops and target America.
It must stop. Our ads make clear that it's us versus the big oil companies, who are pouring millions and millions of dollars into the campaign war chests of politicians in Washington. We're calling some of them out in these new ads, but we need to do more. Can we count on you?
