Bailey Gets Endorsement from Veterans in State Senate Race

WASHINGTON, DC - America's most active group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans, VoteVets.org PAC, today endorsed fellow veteran Aaron Bailey in his race to become State Senator from Michigan's 13th District.
"Aaron is truly one of the rising stars in the veteran's community, and is a bright, incisive leader who will bring a valuable skill set to serving his district," said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran, and Chairman of VoteVets.org PAC. "He has shown a commitment to service, both in the military and the public arena. In short, he has dedicated his life towards helping and fighting for others, and that will make him an exemplary State Senator."
The third generation of his family to serve in the Army, Bailey is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (1999) and holds an MBA from the University of Michigan. He deployed overseas in 2007 to Afghanistan with the Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force, and is also qualified as a United States Army Airborne Ranger. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Service.
